Welcome to Sudsy!, an iOS laundry-guidance app provided by Otterslab ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and us governing your use of the Sudsy! app (the "App"). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. This license is for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Sudsy! offers an optional paid ("Pro") tier through auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase.
You agree not to:
Sudsy! provides wash, dry, and care guidance only. Care-label recognition and sorting are produced by an on-device model and may be incomplete or inaccurate. The guidance is not a guarantee of any result.
You are responsible for following the actual care labels on your garments. Always rely on the manufacturer's care label and instructions before washing, drying, or treating any garment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage to garments or other items resulting from your reliance on the App's guidance.
The App, including its design, layout, graphics, text, and software, is owned by or licensed to Otterslab and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except for the limited license described above. The content you create in the App (such as your garments and photos) remains yours.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Otterslab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage to garments, property, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Japan, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated Terms at otterslab.com. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

お客様には、衣類の実際の取扱い表示ラベルに従う責任があります。衣類を洗濯・乾燥・処理する前には、 必ずメーカーの取扱い表示と指示を確認してください。法律で認められる最大限の範囲において、 本アプリのガイドに依拠したことに起因する衣類その他の物品の損傷について、当社は責任を負いません。
本アプリ（そのデザイン、レイアウト、グラフィック、テキスト、ソフトウェアを含む）は、Otterslab が所有またはライセンスを受けたものであり、 知的財産法によって保護されています。本規約は、上記の限定的な使用許諾を除き、当社の商標やコンテンツに対するいかなる権利もお客様に付与しません。 お客様が本アプリ内で作成したコンテンツ（衣類や写真など）は、引き続きお客様に帰属します。

法律で認められる最大限の範囲において、Otterslab は、お客様による本アプリの使用に起因または関連して生じた、 間接的・付随的・特別・結果的・懲罰的損害、または衣類・財産・データの損失や損傷について、一切責任を負いません。 一部の法域では特定の制限が認められていないため、上記の一部がお客様に適用されない場合があります。
本規約は、抵触法の原則にかかわらず、日本の法律に準拠します。 適用法によりお客様が他の場所で手続きを行う権利が認められる場合を除き、いかなる紛争も 日本に所在する裁判所を管轄とします。
当社は本規約を随時更新する場合があります。その際は、上部の「発効日」を改訂し、更新後の規約を otterslab.com に掲載します。 変更の発効後にお客様が本アプリの使用を継続した場合、更新後の規約に同意したものとみなされます。
